Diet doesn't have to be daunting or limiting. Rather than depriving ourselves of foods we love, we simply need to find healthy choices that work for our individual bodies and lifestyles and choose those the majority of the time. Eat the rainbow everyday for all of those beautiful nutrients and health benefits. Eat plenty of grains, good fats and carbs. If we eat this way in general, splurging on our favorite indulgence is absolutely okay. Soon you will find that healthy foods become your favorite foods.
Simply put, spirituality is finding a purpose in something larger than ourselves. Whether you find spirituality in a place of worship, out in nature, volunteering, working with animals, having something that gives us purpose is an incredibly healing journey.
